Ashlee Wright, founder of Why Eat Wise, has been working as a dietitian for 13 years. She has seen so many women who are burnt out, disappointed in themselves, and who feel like shit because they never feel “successful” since they haven’t lost weight. But Ashlee wants to show women that it’s so much more than the number on the scale – that’s not even important! Diet culture has warped the brains of women and Ashlee’s is over it. It’s time to say goodbye to restrictive diets that make you unhappy and focus on what brings you joy and give yourself permission to eat what you love!
Ashlee lives in Orlando FL with her husband, 2 daughters – 7 and 2.5 years old, and their fur baby, Porter – a 11 year old lab mix. Ashlee LOVES to cook and it would be her dream to have a show on the Food Network some day. In her own words, “I’m also a bit obsessed with Friends and The Bachelor!”
